Sara is a health information review specialist for Case Mix Analysis, Inc. She has more than 20 years experience in health information management, specializing in the area of ICD-9-CM inpatient coding. Sara has worked for healthcare consulting and software development organizations located in Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and the
Midwest. In addition, Sara has worked for HCA Corporate Health Information management Services where her duties involved coding education, consulting and conducting coding reviews in accord with the Corporate Integrity Agreement. While residing in
Hawaii, she was active in the Health Information Management Association of Hawaii, developing and conducting annual CCS prep classes.
